"PROject Life", a compact disc produced by Golden Dome Records, Fort Lauderdale, FL, features local talent to promote pro-life causes in putting together a compelling and tender CD with pro-life themes.
it is dedicated by Father Pavone, national director of Priests for Life,
and offers some great talent for the pro-life movement.
Featured on the list of songs is "The Father s Lullaby" by Michael Forrest of St. Cecilia parish in Wilbraham, MA. Michael sings beautifully about a father s love but he also is able to expand that love to the love of God for his children. The chorus of his song really can touch a listener s heart. He writes, "Rock-a-bye baby, your Daddy s here and he ll wipe away every tear. Hush now sweet baby, in Papa s arms ‘cause in his love you re safe from harm." The song also features a beautiful clarinet solo by Jorge Gomez.
The CD gives a variety of perspectives to the pro-life cause. One song gives voice to the child in the womb. It is entitled, "Silent Cry" and is sung from the perspective of a baby waiting to be born. Another song, "I Can t Wait To See Your Face", offers a poignant duet between a mother and her pre-born child while featuring the voices of a mother and a young child.
The lead song, "A Chance of a Lifetime", illustrates the important choice a pregnant woman must make. The final song, "My Life Belongs to My God", features a powerful message and vocals. Carolyn Saenz sings in strong fashion for respect of life. It captures the listener s attention and makes one contemplate assisted suicide laws that are unfortunately being passed in Europe and promoted in some American states as well.
